"So often we meet people with fantastic businesses who are just too busy with the day to day to pause and reflect on what they have actually accomplished."

"It's not a case of telling people what they're doing wrong it's more often a case of telling them what they are doing that is amazing."

THE PROVENANCE
"Established professionals in the worlds of Arts and Media education, we have found that colleagues and friends from the corporate sector frequently seek our perspective on branding, aesthetics, and technological innovation. They weren't looking for a standard agency, they were looking for aesthetic intelligence. We realised that the strongest brands are not invented through marketing jargon. They are revealed through a deep understanding of culture and people."
Our portfolio of clients includes concierge property services, yacht brokers, classic car restoration, restaurants and events spaces. To find out more check out our case studies and testimonials.
Stephen Hill - BACS MA PHD QTS
Stephen’s work is rooted in the study of how we consume identity. With a PhD in Cultural Theory, his research has interrogated the aesthetic and cultural values of late 20th-century music and lifestyle publishing. He has published peer-reviewed work on topics that include pop music culture, advertising, film and television. This academic weight informs the House Style approach to brand analysis. Since 2004, Stephen has led Media departments and shaped marketing and communication strategies for educational institutions, embracing early innovations in digital marketing and social media. His experience designing specialist courses on Consumer Culture and Identity at Bournemouth University Media School allows him to decode the "mythologies" that businesses often project without realising it. In 2020, he launched the popular culture blog Plastic Letters, followed by the media education hub Mastering Media in 2024 with Michael.

Our Philosophy
"We don’t invent the brand. We reveal it." Our combined experience allows us to treat a business like a culture. We study the rituals, the language, and the "hidden" intellectual property of a founder to create a Digital Flagship—a shop window that protects your reputation and establishes your business as a high-status cultural icon. We believe that every successful operator is on the cusp of becoming a regional icon. Our role is to provide the Narrative Architecture to make that transition visible."
